GLOLURK #623-B
Glolurk was initially designed as a replacement power source for the PoryCo Corporation. With a desperate need to get off of the grid it was decided that there was no time to start from scratch and an already man-made pokemon would need to be utilized instead. Golurk was chosen for its innate ability to contain the spectral energy within it. It was merely a “rewiring” to allow this setup to accommodate an atomic battery. The structure of the golurk would also need some refinement, making it smaller and reinforcing its build would be a priority for the team tasked with this project. Soon the experiment was complete and Golurk (now dubbed Glolurk for its newfound bioluminescence) was connected to the power systems.
Glolurk was soon discovered to have a fatal flaw. It yearned to be a companion Pokémon to a willing trainer. Friendship seemed to be key on its mind and it had escaped containment a time or two. Each time it escaped it would devastate the surrounding area with its leaking radiation. It was decided that a creature with this much power could not be allowed to roam free and so was locked away in PoryCo’s lowest floor. The entire building had to be rewired so as to support a flow of energy from this space, but it all proved worth it once renewable energy was able to flow freely throughout the facility.
